“If you want to become a winner you need to believe in yourself. To perform in excellence you need to believe in victory.”
Exercise is a way of life.
You might care mostly about your “well being” or your purpose is to become the world champion, the golden rule which applies to everyone is: “I’m going slow because I’m in a hurry.” We all want as fast as possible to feel and enjoy the benefits of exercising and working out in the gym. We are impatient to reach our goals faster and reach the top, most true in case you are involved with competitive sports.
However, the implementation of training methods is basically an “intervention” in the way our body operates, in order to improve its performance. The metabolic and structural changes that systemic workouts can result, do take time to evolve.
But do never forget. The changes are temporary and return to their original state at a time proportionate to the athlete’s or trainee’s “coaching age”.
Do not underestimate, nor overstate your ability.
Proper programming, systematic engagement, patience and persistence are essential to get the results you’re looking for. Enjoy as much as you can and do not feel disappointment ever. Your dream doesn’t have an expiration date. Take a deep breath and try again.
Besides, it is the journey that is worth to enjoy and not necessarily the destination.
